1931-1969
 

   Teodor-Herzl Silbert

Born on 5 July 1904 in Boston, America.

His parents were Jacob and Lisa Silbert.

He completed public school and high school and learned in a Yiddish night-school.

He began to act in children's roles in the troupe of his parents, afterwards for a time switching and later already acting in adult roles with his parents.

Later S. left the stage and became a cashier and an assistant manager for years at the Hopkinson Theatre.

Afterwards he worked at the Irving [Place] Theatre.

In 1929 he worked at the Folks Theatre.

In 1929-30 he was at Brooklyn's Rolland Theatre.
