Mrs. Simon
(Mishkind)


In 1889 Pinchas Thomashefsky brought her as an actress to Philadelphia from New York, where she performed as "Mirele" in Goldfaden's "Di kishufmakherin".

For a long time, S. was a popular prima donna in America.

S.'s children, Leah and Sofia, also had acted on the Yiddish stage.
