Sholem Simovitsh
 

S. was born in 18... in Botashan, Romania.

He was a tailor and afterwards was taken into Mogulesco's troupe.

Later he became a folk singer and later came to the Yiddish theatre as a character-comic.

Due to the destruction of Rumania during the war, S. remained in Russia, where he passed away during wartime[?].
