Aaron Tager

T. was the head of a group of folksingers in Odessa (Jacob Katzman, Mendele Abramowitz, Shrage and Boris Altman), and when Spivakovski and Israel Rosenberg put together their troupe for Odessa (1879), they took him in to it. Later he became a prompter in the troupe of Naftali Goldfaden and from time to time also he acted in small character roles. In 1884 or 1885 T. passed away in Odessa.

Berish Beckerman, who had in the beginning of the eight decade of the nineteenth century acted with T. in Warsaw in the courtyard of Wolf Litvak's Garden, pictured him as such:

"A blonde, Lithuanian, young man, a little [baberdlt], with an entirely beautiful baritone voice. He was the director".

M. E. from Jacob Katzman and Bina Abramowitz, and Sh. E. from Berish Beckerman.
