1931-1969
 

Enrico Vays
 

He was in 1887 in San Antonio, province Entro Khyos.

His parents were colonists.

He was educated in the Yiddish-Spanish school.

At the age of thirteen, he arrived in Buenos Aires.

In 1901 he performed in Zigmunt Levin's Yiddish troupe, priori as a chorus singer.

Later he began to act in character roles, also with amateurs.

V. acted with Gutentag, Marinhof, Fannie Vadi Epstein, Morris Axelrad, Moshkovich, Lobel, Goldfaden, et al.

Afterwards he became a business leader in Yiddish and organized theatres, arranged tours for the popular Argentinean actors and for foreign concerts, and since 1926 has retired from the theatre.

At a certain time, V. also acted in Spanish.
