Vidrevitsh was born on 18 January 1867 in Vitebsk, White Russia.

His father was a businessman who gave him a traditional education.

After his wedding he tried trade, but he hadn't any success, and in the course of thirty years he was a Hebrew teacher in Warsaw.

From time to time he apparently wrote in the Hebrew and Yiddish press.

V. composed the one-act, "Iṭshe Meir tsu di ṿahlen," "Di yudishe gmyne," and "Der shumd," which was performed for the Yiddish theatre in Poland.
