White Russia Yiddish State Studio

In 1920, under the leadership of M. Rafalsky, the White Russia Yiddish State Theatre was founded. The studio began its work with a group of five to six members, but thanks to the support of the state and the superiority of the collective and the direction, the studio [bhdrgh] was reinforced with young forces: working children, workers from [verkshtatn], also a group from the Kiev studio came. Gradually the existence of the studio [oysregulirt, farfult], and after four years of work the studio was transformed into the White Russia Yiddish State Theatre.
