THE MONOSSON AND RABINOWITZ FAMILIES

The photo above is of the Monosson and Rabinowitz families taken
shortly after the murder of head of the family (Abraham Monosson) in 1892.
In the middle is Bathsheba (Bessie) Monosson (nee Rabinowitz) holding Fred. 
To her left is her father Schmuel, a rabbi, and to his left is David.  
On the far right is Isador, another of the three brothers.
Holding him is a Rabinowitz cousin with his two daughters on
either side of Bathsheba. Standing are Frieda and Sasha, daughters of
Abraham Monosson from his first marriage. In the middle is Abraham.
This photo was taken after the family left Moscow and moved back to Novogrudok.

The photograph below was taken in 1903, also in Novgrudok, Belarus.
Seated from left to right is Leo's sister, Bathsheba's sister, Leo Rabinowitz,
Standing is Bathsheba  (nee Rabinowitz) Monosson and Fred Monosson.
