The Rutgers Vaudeville Theatre

The Rutgers Vaudeville Theatre was located on the Lower East Side of Manhattan at 39 Rutgers Street, near Madison Street.

The proprietors were Zimmerman and Gotthelf; the regisseur was Louis Bakshitzky.

The play to be performed on a midweek evening, on 24 January 1910, was "Doz meydl fun der getto," or "Girl from the Ghetto."

Mentioned are a Bessie Rosenblum and Gustav Goldstein.

Also mentioned are productions of "The Green Bride" and "The Detective."
