On March 12, 1975 Celia Adler gave a talk to a group--perhaps a NYC
Senior Center or a Home for the Aged.
Here is a sound file of her interesting talk, of her recollections. The audio was not
professionally recorded--
and the volume had
to be amplified to create this piece--but it can be listened to well
enough
and serve as an educational tool regarding the wonderful history of the Yiddish theatre.
