Born in 1900 in Riga, Latvia, into a family of tailors.

At an early age she became interested in the Yiddish theatre.

According to Yona Radinov, she was a Baltic daughter[?], unmarried, a talented artist in the Riga Yiddish Theatre.

B. was brutally killed by the Nazis in the Riga Ghetto.
