Lyuba Rabinovitsh


 

R. was born in 1913.

She was educated in a children's home in Kiev.

In 1931she performed in the Kiev State Yiddish Theatre for young audiences under the direction of M. Vaynshelbaum.

In 1941, together with a child, she perished at the hands of the Nazis in the "valley of death" in Babi Yar, in Kiev.

According to Yona Radinov, she was a talented actress, and she shined in a role from Sholem Aleichem's "Motl peysi dem khazns."

She was the wife of actor Avrom Chetshilnitsky.
