Manya Ratner


R. was born circa 1921 in Odessa, Ukraine.

In 1941 she completed the Moscow Yiddish Theatrical School and was taken in as an actress in the Moscow State Yiddish Theatre.

In the summer of 1941 she spent tsugast by her parents in Odessa, and together with them, the family and ten thousand Jewish Odessans became cruelly destroyed by the Nazis in the Odessa catacombs.
