Ben-Tsion Roitman

 

R. was born in 19... in Kishinev.

R. toured with itinerant, half-operetta, half-melodramatic troupes. Later he acted with Sidy Thal under Sternberg's direction. He also participated in the Kishinev State Yiddish Theatre.

As Julian Schwartz said, he was an actor with khn and humor. He died of typhus in the Ukraine. As Khaykele Ash said, he died in 1943 in mitlazye.

R. was the husband of the actress Luba Meyden (who died in 1963 in Israel), who had after his death married actor Avraham Goldiner in Israel.
