Izzy (Isak) Sapozhnikov


S. was born in 1909 in Kiev, Ukraine.

In 1925 he completed an electro-technical technium.

From 1925 until 1941, when the Soviet Union fought the Nazis, he had worked in the Yiddish theatre in Kiev as a manager of an electrical lighting business.

S. volunteered to go away to fight against the Nazis, and not lozndik taken in captivity, he perished bravely in 1942.
