T. was born in Warsaw, Poland, where he participated in the local dramatic circle.

In the late twenties he came to Paris, where he joined the dramatic circle with the local "Kultur-LIge (Culture League)," later performing in the "PIAT" Theatre. Here he participated in various plays, e.g. in Bergelson's "Der toyber," Leivick's "The Poor Kingdom," Sholem Aleichem's "The Gold Diggers," and "Luft-prnsut," "Boytre" from Moyshe Kulbak, et al.

In 1942 he was arrested by the Germans. When he was led into a full train with Jews to a concentration camp, he wanted to save from the cruel hands and appeared bound by a train window of loyfndn and became derhrget, such that men veys afiln nit vav zeyn gebeyn iz ahingekumen.
